Venting, Challenge and a Freebie

Alright everyone, prepare yourselves for a longer than usual blog post today ;). First I have to vent a bit, then I'll offer you a challenge (with a pretty cool prize mind you) and then, for sticking out after all this, you get a sweet freebie!!!

Here it goes:

Last night I was reading the news and let me tell you I had trouble sleeping. First, there is the whole thing in India. I just can't grasp how human beings can be so destructive and so uncaring and so unloving and such monsters...
Then right after I read about this employee who was killed at Wal-Mart after a human stampede ran over him while trying to get their hands onto the best deal on Black Friday. They didn't stop when they ran over him, nor when the police arrived, nor when the paramedics were trying to perform CPR... because man, gosh forbid they would miss on getting that f...ing 42" Plasma TV (excuse my bleeped language). I mean, really, the hundreds off is so worth a human life, right??!!!. I'm so p---d right now I can't cope.

SOOOO I decided that I need some news about how there is hope for human kind.

The challenge:

Make a layout about something wonderful that someone has done for somebody else, or something non-material that makes you beam with happiness. It can be about anything you want, as long as it shows that there is hope for human kind; that people CAN be caring, that people do think of others, and that a human life is still worth more than any material possession we can get our hands on. We'll be looking for a selfless layout that really shows kindness, love and hopefully hope.

Alright everyone, it's official. We have a home!!! You can find ViVa at Sunshine Studios. How awsome is that?! And of course to celebrate all of you get a little something, something from us ;)
But first, take a look at what we have in store. Oh... and 'till Wednesday EVERYTHING we load up there is 25% off.

First on the list: Moonlit. We designed this kit while still at CRD and we LOVE the colors and elements on it.

Our dear friend Danielle (aka Artemia) is going through a very, very difficult time in her life right now. Vivie and I met her while she was also Ct'ing for Christina Renee; and we were both in disbelief when we learned about all this is going on. And So It Begins... news and freebie

Hi there. Vanessa here again (told you I'd get addicted to this thing). Vivie and I have wonderful news to share. We have a home! That's right soon you will see our designs at a pretty cool store. Too bad we can't say where just yet. Just know we are both jumping up and down and it won't be long before we can disclose the whole thing.

AND since we are so happy we decided to make a little something something for you. A mini called Beginnings. Hope you enjoy it.

First Timer...

Hi there everyone. Vanessa here. My first time "blogging" ever... Go ahead and laugh, I know I must be the last person in the digi-world that hasn't done this before. I guess I was afraid of getting addicted to it. Oops, I think I already am. Just a heads up, saying that ViVa is coming, we are in search of a permanent place to stay as we sadly leave CRD's shop. What a fun month this was! Can't wait to show you all what we got ;) Hugs!!!

Unica Designs and East West Scraps MERGE!!!

Vanessa of Unica Designs and I are both on Christina Renee's CT and what a ride it has been since we both came on board early in the summer. We were given an opportunity to try and design at CR's Block Party in October and decided to collaborate since it's always funner when there's 2!!! We loved it sooooo much, we're now ViVa Artistry!!! So keep an eye out for us as we begin this new chapter in our book of life!!!
