Sale and Hybrid Tutorial!

It's nearing the end of our Hanukkah sale. Here is what is on retirement sale today:

Only for $1.50 and after three days, it's gone!!!

And, let me show you this fantastic grab bag available at the DigiChick:

It's got a ton of stuff in it and is only available til the 12th of December so hurry over!!! Here is a tutorial for you...

I made this cute little ornament with 2 of the papers in the bag:

You will need either one double sided patterned paper or 2 sheets of paper printed front and back. I did 2 sheets of paper glued to each other.

Other things are: Gluestick, stapler, scissors, ribbon

Print your papers (I used A4 size) and cut out 9 circles approximately 6cm (2.5 inches) for each piece. You can go bigger but you will need more paper. I then glued one pattern paper to another for a total of 9 circles.

Fold each circle in half, and then unfold them. Then stack them with one pattern going one direction, the next the opposite way, and so on.

Staple down the middle fold line, one on top, one in the middle, and one in the bottom.

Use gluestick or thick glue and adhere each side (similar pattern together) 1/3 of the way down on the bottom and then on the next sides, 1/3 of the way on the top. Continue this all around. If you need, you can hold the edges together with paperclips.

When the ball is dry, shape it a bit and add a ribbon with a sewing pin. You can make a bunch of these without the ribbon to decorate your table. Get your kids involved. It's an easy project!
