Another Chat and Freebies!!!

We have another chat tonight Wednesday, 27 June at 9 pm (eastern).  And we have a lot of inspiration and prizes plus a challenge that you can win a great prize from us!!!

Today, we have some fantastic releases.  A new one just in time for your Fourth of July festivities.  Our family is planning to go to the Rebild 4th of July here in Denmark.  It is the only 4th of July celebration outside of the US and has been held for the last 100 years.  The queen of Denmark is slated to be there as it is 100th anniversary.  Keith Carradine is speaking as his grandfather was the man responsible for organizing the original Rebild celebration.  So it should be an interesting day!

Here is what our crew did with the kit:

We are re-releasing from our old store:

And, we're sending out a newsletter this week with a freebie!!!  So be sure to sign up on the left there!  There was a freebie add-on to Siren Song, get it HERE, scroll all the way to the bottom of the post.

Post Chat Wrap Up

We had a lovely chat last week with the topic being about dreams and we spoke about our old dreams and new dreams.  If you take a look at this thread at the SBG forum, you can see some inspiration about dreams.  In this SBG blog post, you can read more about giving your DREAMS WINGS TO FLY.

As per our usual, we had a participation prize which is now available at the store.  And, we offered two winners a bundle each of ViVa product.  All they had to do was create a page and present it in the same thread.  Flowersgal and mskowbo were randomly selected and are now enjoying their bundles!!!  It's easy peasy to join in.

Don't forget to take a look here for a new Snapshot:  Comfort Food!!!  And in a few weeks, we'll be doing another chat!!!

Weekend happenings

I'm getting ready to go to the west coast tomorrow for my brother-in-law's UEFA football (soccer) bash (for the European Championship).  It's Denmark vs. Holland so it should be interesting.  Since we lived in Holland, DH followed some of the PSV Eindhoven games, not that he's big into sports.  Anyway, today at One Story Down, we are re-releasing Kallah, in time for the June and summer weddings.  But it's versatile enough to do more than just weddings.  Use the bits and pieces for other types of layouts.  You can see the CT layouts do just that!

Here are the inspiration pieces:

I did this one of our wedding 22 years ago:

I like assymetrical layouts best as it adds a bit of movement to the page.  You might want to do a straight on layout first and then turn it and tilt it and see how it looks.

To share with you, two of our CT members are now template designers.  Well, Courtney was Studio Buttercup at SBG last year and she is BACK at MScraps as Magnolia Street Studio.  Be sure to check out her blog here (i think there's a couple freebies!).

And Andrea now is doing some awesome templates too!  Check her out at Lifescapes here.  Love the freestyle look of her freebie!

Hope your weekend is full of creativity!

It's June and summer is HERE!

Summer is finally here and in Denmark, we started with exceptionally warm weather so I am definitely in good moods every day.  And our family adores barbecue so we do quite a lot of it in this season.  So, our chat Tuesday evening went fabulously and we got a chance to talk about funny things that happened in our lives and embarrassing moments that we SHOULD remember.  These are layouts you should make, so that you and your loved ones remember the small moments that make up your lives!  We gave away a wordart pack (you'll see this in our shop this week) and this week's layout winner is Johanna who will receive a $20 ViVa shopping spree.

For the month of June, we will be guests at ONE STORY DOWN.   We are honored to be in the company of two Laurens!!!  Lauren Reid (who invited us, thank you, chica!) and Lauren Grier (who is also guesting). Here is the collection we have there:

The lovely ethnic "dolls" were created for us by our own Eryn Herbert.  She makes the loveliest drawings!!! This kit is all about diversity and the beauty of our differences.  If we were to be all the same, it would make for such a boring world (imagine the type of scrap kits we would have if they were all the same!).  As it is, with the different personalities, all the different cultures and races, it makes for such a variety of experiences and ideas that we can all share in and learn about.

And, at Scrapbookgraphics, we released our Life Composition collection (the main kit was part of the December 2011 Digi Files) along with the add-ons and two additional kits.

This collection is perfect for the Project Life or Project 52 type of layouts you may be looking for.  Everyday scrapping and an excellent type of basic elements that you need for your stash.  Here are the plastic pockets as well:

There are 10 different ones including instamatic sizes.  And you don't have to use the journal cards.  You can insert anything into the pockets.  It can be an extracted memento, or one of the elements from another kit.  It's all up to you!

Finally, we have the Misfit kit...inspired by our own CT.

And, to try out our plastic pockets, here is a sampler for you.  It once was a Facebook freebie so here is your chance if you didn't get it before:
