Hi everyone, Vanessa here today. Vi is spending this week sailing away on a fun adventure with the family. We have been keeping pretty busy this summer as well around here. Josh the girls and I spent a week in St. Augustine with a family of friends. We rented condos next door to each other and just let the kids have fun at the beach. Everyone had tons of fun playing, picking shells, catching fish and eating sand (well, that last one only goes to the triplets - that's what we call our 2 plus my friend's 2-year-old).
Got back and the weekend after we had some friends staying over with us for a few days who also have 4 children. Although the house was upside down most of the time, the kids had a BLAST and I must confess that having a fun girlfriend around to chat until the wee hours of the night was not bad either :) This weekend is sure to be just as much fun as a very close friend is coming with the family. I am already pilling up the chat topics in my head hehe

Talking about chat, tonight we will be having our Snapshot Scrap & Chat. Come join us for some laughs, story sharing and inspiration. These are not speed scrap chats, we are there mainly to share ideas and to spark up some mojo. And of course some cool prizes also tend to show up here and there :)
We are having these chats every other week, so even if you can't make it to this one, make sure to keep an eye out for coming ones.

We also have a re-release at Scrapbookgraphics today. Return to Oz is in store today.

Have a great rest of the week. Hope to see you tonight in the SBG chat room :)

Happy Fourth of July!!!

First, we hope you who celebrate the 4th, enjoy today with your friends and family celebrating freedom. We have much to be grateful and happy about. My family will be having a mini barbecue and leftover fireworks from New Years here in Denmark. We had originally plannned to go to the 100 year Rebild 4th of July which is the only 4th of July celebration outside of the US but DH ran into work conflicts (it's not a holiday here!) so we will be staying home. And unfortunately, all our American friends have gone home for the summer so it's just us this year!
Our World Beat collection comes home today to Scrapbookgraphics:

The lovely ethnic "dolls" were created for us by our own Eryn Herbert.  She makes the loveliest drawings!!! This kit is all about diversity and the beauty of our differences.  If we were to be all the same, it would make for such a boring world (imagine the type of scrap kits we would have if they were all the same!).  As it is, with the different personalities, all the different cultures and races, it makes for such a variety of experiences and ideas that we can all share in and learn about.

Inspiration from our team:

We also are re-releasing Kallah, our wedding/love/romance kit:

We've also uploaded a kit that was offered as a freebie on our last chat.  A set of brushes related to herbs.  Makes a great addition to your scrapping arsenal.

Our chats always include a freebie and a chance for an awesome prize when you complete the challenge related to it.  Our chats are based and inspired by the Snapshots theme at Scrapbookgraphics.  It's all about your world and your memories and the layouts you create for your family and future generations. Join us twice a month for inspiration, talk, laughter, prizes, and fun!!!
